University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU)

University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) is now accepting applications for admission to the new baccalaureate program, Bachelor of Education Studies under the Faculty of Education. The Bachelor of Education Studies (BES) program will be offered starting the first term of academic year 2012-2013.

The BES program aims to “develop education professionals for various types of education work in diverse contexts” as stated in the online prospectus for the said program. A Bachelor of Education Studies (BES) student may specialize in one of the two available specializations, namely Alternative Education Systems (AES) and  Instructional Design and Technology (IDT).
